Thirteen Things about Kat’s Krackerbox that begin with the letter “E”

1….I am EXCEPTIONALLY ENTHUSIASTIC when I’m not downright stressed to the max and people are pushing my buttons…and they sure do know how to push the right ones!

2….When I was EIGHT years old, we moved from New York to Arkansas.

3….I have never rode an ELEPHANT but it looks like a lot of fun and I’d love to try it!

4….This ELECTION year is probably going to be the hardest year for me because my top two men have withdrawn, Fred Thompson and Rudy Giuliani.  I thought about voting for Senator John McCain but found out earlier this week that my man, Ralph Nader is going to run for president!

5….Growing up in the ’80s, one of my favorite vehicles was the EL CAMINO.  It’s low to the ground like a car but has a bed on the back like a pick-up truck.  They could be fixed up to look really sharp!

6….When I was ELEVEN years old, we moved from Arkansas to California.

7….In 1999, when Arkansas had a really bad ice storm, our ELECTRICITY was out for a week.  We didn’t have a fireplace then so it was really cold!  Our mobile home was all ELECTRIC so there was no other way to heat the home.

8….One of my favorite holidays has always been EASTER, probably because our family gets together, has a big dinner, and it gives EVERYONE a chance to see family members they haven’t seen in a long time.  I also like EASTER because it’s a celebration of the life of Jesus.  He is risen!!

9….My youngest son, CJ, is married to a girl named EMILY.  RW and I really don’t like her because we found out she was bad-mouthing us to CJ’s EX-WIFE, Brittany, and her family.  She has also lied to me and my daughter, which I really don’t appreciate at all.  EMILY also told CJ’s EX-WIFE, Brittany, that she hopes the baby she’s carrying isn’t CJ’s but that the baby is her EX’s, David Jones, who is also the father of her first child, Hayden.

10..When I was EIGHTEEN, I was pregnant with my second child but it was actually my third pregnancy.

11..I am attending college to further my EDUCATION.  I am currently a junior at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.  In the fall, I will be a senior!

12..For the last week and a half I have been ENTIRELY EXHAUSTED because my youngest son, CJ, is in jail for 60-days.  The doctor prescribed me some Lorazepam to help me deal with the stress.

13..I am EAGERLY awaiting for April 19, which is the day that my son, CJ, will be released from jail…unless he gets out EARLY!!

    Child of the 80s, I remember the El Camino! At my father-in-law’s funeral, there was a Cadillac version of one toting the flowers to the cemetery. What’s old is new and new again….

    New York to Arkansas sounds like quite an odyssey–from very North to very South. I hope I too will experience the many contrasts of our country.

    Kaige - I just start writing. I don’t pick the words before hand, they just seem to come to me.
